Richie Butler

Richie has completed a Masters of Physiotherapy and is passionate about the Private Practice setting, specialising in Low Back Pain, Post Surgical Rehabilitation and Sports Physiotherapy. Alongside Universal Practice, Richie combines his knowledge and passion of Australian Rules Football and Sport Medicine through his work as a Physiotherapist with the Essendon Football Club VFL Program. Richie also enjoys working in the Clinical Pilates setting with clients of all ages using an intelligent, considered and client specific approach to optimise performance and improving rehabilitative outcomes.

Cait McPhee

Cait is a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Practitioner. She is passionate about strengthening and healing the mind and body through an integrated, science based and holistic approach. Cait has been involved in a variety of sports since an early age and appreciates the importance of biomechanical screening assessment, manual therapy and specific exercise prescription in both a recreational and an elite sport setting. Cait also has special interest in Women’s Health, and Ante and Post Natal Physiotherapy. She loves working with pregnant women and Mums to ensure they have the best experience possible during and after pregnancy, by providing appropriate and specific treatment along with thorough education. Cait uses a client specific approach when treating clients of all ages to optimise their health and wellbeing to create positive change.

James Barjasic

James is a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Practitioner. James has a long history in competing in high level sport in Australian Rules Football, and also works as the Senior Physiotherapist at the West Brunswick Amateur Football Club. James is passionate about sports science and uses an objective, considered and client specific approach to sports medicine and wellbeing.

Carly McConnell

Carly is a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor. Carly also works as the Head Physiotherapist at the Old Melburnians Football Club and as the Senior Physiotherapist for the Victorian Amateur Football Association’s representative team, most recently travelling with them internationally in 2017. Carly has a passion for both recreational and elite sports, with a strong focus on returning to sport after injury and optimising performance in sports through exercise-based rehab and injury prevention programs. Carly has also lead research in to pelvic floor dysfunction which is currently awaiting publication.

Sarah Templer

Sarah is a Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates and Yoga Instructor. Sarah specialises in Neurological Rehabilitation having completed the world wide recognised Bobarth Certificate. She brings an integrated, systemic approach to her Physiotherapy, Pilates and Yoga treatments that fold together foundational movement patterns, strengthening and breath control, working from the ground up.

Caroline Ray

Caroline is a Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor. Having treated people aged less than 1 month to 90+ years old, she understands and promotes positive movement for every body. She carries this into the Old Melburnians Football Club and her own activities, including Pilates, tennis and golf. Caroline also empathises with desk-bound workers after her previous legal career. She believes that anyone can harness their neuroplasticity to improve physically, which uplifts the spirit and enhances well-being.

Nikki Milivojac

Nikki is a Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor. She has a specific interest in running biomechanics and functional stability. Nikki also specialises in orthopaedic assessment and post surgical rehabilitation and management.  Her classes and treatments are anatomically based with a emphasis on strength and alignment. Nikki is a keen sports woman herself competing in Triathlon and Long Distance Running.

Anne-Marie Boys

Anne-Marie is a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Practitioner. She specialises in orthopaedic assessment and post surgical rehabilitation and management. She believes strongly in the benefits of exercise  and Pilates for rehabilitation, injury prevention, and general health and wellbeing. Her classes are anatomically based with a emphasis on strength and alignment. Anne-Marie is a keen sportswoman herself and plays competitive Touch Rugby and Soccer.

Olivia Handrinos

Olivia is a Physiotherapist and Yoga Instructor. Knowing that it was the connectedness and meditative aspect of yoga that really helped her overcome persistent pain, she has since established herself as a Yoga Instructor believing Physiotherapists are invaluably well-positioned to teach and tailor yoga to patients and members of our community. Olivia brings a science based, holistic and lighthearted approach to her Yoga Classes.

Rian McGough

Rian is a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor. He studied Exercise Science prior to studying Physiotherapy and has a strong belief in Evidence Based Practice and Holistic Medicine. Rian is passionate about injury prevention, previously having played Australian Rules Football for the Richmond Football Club in the Victorian Football League, and the Casey Scorpions. He is also passionate about age optimisation and enjoys working with older clients in a rehabilitative, sports and pain management setting.

Sammy Wilson

Sammy Wilson is a Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates and Yoga Instructor.

Sammy has been practicing as a Physiotherapist for 10 years and currently works in elite spot with the Victorian Gymnastic Team, specialising in biomechanical retraining, elite sports injury management and exercise-based rehabilitation.

This, combined with her own experiences in sport, extensive travel though India and the Himalayas, and her love of the outdoors, has inspired Sammy to develop a unique medical model that brings scientific-based ‘clinical wellness’ (physiotherapy and Pilates) together with holistic Eastern therapies and philosophies (yoga and meditation).

Rosie Wilson

Rosie is a 500 hour yoga and meditation teacher, having studied extensively through Asia, Europe and USA.  Her osteopathic background accompanied with her knowledge of ancient yoga philosophy compliment each other to help people return to their natural state, free from blockages and tensions that no longer serve us in our daily lives.  Rosie creates a unique, creative and soulful healing experience in our Yin Sound Bath.

Sarah Wolff

Sarah is a Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates Instructor, Yoga Instructor and Pilates Teacher Trainer with UP Education. Sarah has a special interest in treating spinal, pelvic and lower limb injuries using an individual and holistic approach to help clients achieve their physical goals. Through her extensive Pilates experience and strong understanding of human movement, Sarah specialises in biomechanical and postural retraining, exercise-based rehabilitation and sports injury management.

She has worked and travelled with a variety of sporting teams including the Open Men’s Victorian Indoor Hockey, Open Men’s Premier League Hockey and the Collegians Football Club. She also enjoys competing in high level sport herself, playing competitive Netball in the Victorian Netball League.

Abby De Kretser

Abby is a Physiotherapist, Clinical Pilates and Yoga Instructor and Head of Education at UP Edu. Her depth of knowledge, understanding and precision of human movement allows her to deliver a holistic approach to movement and medicine, that is grounded in science. She is particularly focused through her work around the pelvis and spine and combines her extensive Pilates and yoga experience with an evidence based hands on approach to rehabilitation and injury prevention.
